You’re Invited: SIRENS Exhibition

Monster Children and Blender Gallery are joining forces for their second feature collaborative exhibition SIRENS on iconic women in music and culture.

From Madonna to Debbie Harry, Patti Smith, Janis Joplin, Kate Moss, Courtney Love, PJ Harvey, Tina Turner, Siouxsie Soux, Salt ’n’ Pepa, Joan Jett, Roxanne Shante, Stevie Nicks and many, many more the exhibition will showcase a diverse collection, some never seen in Australia before. With over fifty shots from world renowned photographers including Mick Rock, Gary Heery, Janette Beckman, Bob Gruen, Lynn Goldsmith, Brian Aris, Allan Tannenbaum and Sophie Howarth across punk, hip hop, pop, rock ‘n’ roll and street culture icons - this is a tribute to all the leading ladies who we have long admired, sung along to, copied and definitely had a crush on throughout our entire lives.

Opening night next Thursday the 19th September from 5-8pm at the Monster Children gallery running until October 19th. Drinks thanks to Young Henrys, Avalon Wines and Jameson.
