Onward To Chapter 2

There are so few things that overlap between surfing, skating, art, and music.

For one: us. For two: the need for a good blade. Whether you’re cutting grip off a fresh board, clipping the excess string from the neck of your guitar during the chaos of a show, trimming down the fine edge of a canvas that now holds your greatest work, or slicing through your leash because you got in the water on a day where you shouldn’t have gotten in the water and the waves are fucking massive and murky and you’ve only been surfing for a year and your ego is huge and you’re learning an important lesson right now and you think you feel a shark touching your leg but you can’t tell for sure because you are being absolutely fucking pummeled by this crush and you need to get free of your board because it is for sure gone to the sea gods but you don’t want to be.

For all of these and so much more, we are delighted to offer The James Brand’s new and improved, Chapter 2, a re-think of their classic Chapter 1 which has been keeping us well taken care of for the last ten years.

Available in classic Titanium, Black, and Bone/Black, the Chapter 2 is an update of the 1, featuring a tip-up carry orientation and a fully-machined titanium pocket clip, and is built around a CPM s35vn stainless steel blade that runs on sealed ceramic bearings. This new bit of slicing capability sports elegant new lines and a sophisticated silhouette. It is a necessity. Because if you don’t get it, the grip will go uncut and the sharks or the waves or the sea gods will win.
