Donate: The Precious Final Moments Of Townes, Jake And Ainsley
It is with an extremely heavy heart that we are writing this.
Words simply feel deficient in conveying our heartbreak for the young family that is Jake, Ainsley and their little boy Townes. I first got to know Jake many years ago as I served him coffee at Highline Cafe in Palm Beach. He was working for Rythmn at the time and we always would get chatting about the surf and creative projects. He was a few years ahead of me in his career (obviously, as I was still slinging coffees and he was working on amazing campaigns) but he was always so full of ideas, patience and kindness. Fast forward a few years, he entered and won the Monster Children Short Film Awards. Our paths crossed again and he immediately became apart of the extended Monster Children family. From that point on he has always been one our favourite filmers to work with and he became particularly close with our commercial director Jamie. Seeing the struggle his family has had to endure over the past year with their young son Townes diagnosed with cancer is nothing less than heartbreaking, but none more so than today after we have learnt that it is terminal. If only the breath of well wishes from everyone could reverse cancer, as Iām sure that would cure the unthinkable in no time. We would like to extend our deepest love to this young family. We cannot imagine the pain you are going through now and the time ahead. Please consider donating to their gofundme ensure the precious moments left are without financial stress for this underserving little trio. I wish there was something more we could do or say. We are so sorry.
