White Claw and Skegss’ Silver Lake Takeover

You know the party’s going to be good when the cops roll through to shut you down before doors have even opened.

Luckily for the 600-plus people who stopped by to party last Friday night in Silver Lake, the show must (and did) go on, despite the authorities’ best efforts. Thanks to our good friends at White Claw, we headed to Texino on Friday night to try their new Surf range, and listen to sets from Pet Dress, Australia’s own surf-garage rockers Skegss, and eternal groove lords Reverberation Radio. A few lucky punters went home with new surfboards too, with all proceeds from the board raffle going to Surfrider Foundation Los Angeles.
