It makes sense, then, that they’d team up for a live music session showing off Roark’s new On The Range line of clothing cool enough to make you feel like you’re crossing the plains of Wyoming headin’ up north to a snowy Montana lake by horseback. The song Matt chose to play is a previously-unrecorded song called ‘Story of Drew’s Life’, played live at The Maverick Saloon one day on a whim while driving up the California coast. There’s something precious about it; something that makes me think, ‘am I in an early Bob Dylan song?’ and then I think, ‘Am I down-home enough to wear this shirt?’, and then finally, ‘Yes, of course I am, this ain’t my first rodeo.’ You’re darn tootin’. Give the vid (shot and directed by Kyle MacLennan) a watch and tell me you don’t feel like you’re nestled in a sleeping bag round a campfire, hay in your teeth, a special little sweetheart on your mind, soaking in stars on the middle night of a hundred-mile cattle drive.
