Vans And Quasi Have Made A Bit Of Magic (again)

Our friends at Vans have once again teamed up with our other friends, Quasi, to create a capsule of shoes, apparel, and little tiny figurines and I have already spent an embarrassing amount of money.

This is Vans and Quasi’s second collaboration on very fucking sick product, and personally, I’d say this collection is the real winner of the two. The tag line for the collection is, ‘Refined aesthetic meets Vans Skate progressive tech for effortless form and function' which is a very astute it flattering descriptive line because it implies that I, by calculation of association, because I am very into the collection, am myself, as refined as the collection itself; that my taste is of the par, and worthy of me looking down on everyone at the DIY spot who could not even begin to fathom the depths of my aesthetic prowess. That might be a stretch, but it’s a stretch I’ll gladly accept.

What’s that term? LDF? Look Down Factor. That’s the term. If you look down at your kit and it looks sick, you skate better. This is a tried and true psychological theory that every skater with a bit of insecurity will attest to. The Vans Skateboarding X Quasi collection definitely hits high on the LDF. I’m not saying that getting the collection will make you skate better, mostly because I’m not entirely sure it’s legal to, but if I could say it, I would.

Skate better, here.
