Watch: The Land of the Right Hand

Team O'Neill recently travelled across the Atlantic to the Northwestern stretch of the African coastline - Morocco - for the latest episode of their series, Strike Missions.

What appeals to me about this is that Strike Missions showcase everything that make surf trips so damn fun… it’s a testament to the spirit of exploration, embracing spontaneity, and plunging in on a rogue surf trip - something sitting here at the Monster Children office we daydream about way too much... The mission for this one? Simple: track the swell, seize that moment, and hope against hope that the gamble pays off.

The team that O’Neill assembled for this trip are some of the best surfers on the planet - Ian Crane, Robbie McCormick, Eli Beukes, Torrey Meister, and Gui Ribeiro. As the boys from O’Neill touched down on Moroccan soil, they realized they didn’t know much about the region - other than they had some world class right-handers, beckoning them to throw on some rubber and have a dig.
