The 2023 Splendour Weekender is Here

Ah yes, another year, another weekend spent in the grass with our favourite bands.

Splendour in the Grass has for many years been an Australian music institution, offering up the finest and freshest in global music, and it has been our pleasure for a lot of those years to produce the Splendour Weekender, a free and beautiful newspaper dedicated to helping you navigate the grounds, get to know the acts, and fail at completing an unnecessarily difficult crossword puzzle (I hope you’re caught up on your Hamlet characters). The Splendour Weekender is available for FREE all over the festival grounds, at local coffee shops and pubs, cool retailers, back alleys, under bridges, in your morning eggs, and buried in the sand, but if you somehow can’t seem to get your hands on one, check out our digital version here, and keep an eye out for the features across the weekend.

This year’s Splendour Weekender is absolutely brimming with interviews with the favourites like Little Simz, Idles, and Melbourne’s own, RVG, in addition to your guide to festival drinking etiquette, your daily horoscope (sorry, Todd), and a scavenger hunt for a bit of buried treasure, the clues for which are hidden throughout the paper. Just kidding, there’s no treasure. Or is there? Who knows. Not us. Find out for yourself.
