Russell Bierke Is An Animal

Russell Bierke, AKA the white walker AKA the skitzest (is that a word? It is now) surfer on the South Coast just released his latest film by Andrew Kaineder and what the actual fuck.

Namely titled ‘Outer Edge of Leisure’ because there is absolutely nothing leisurely about this thing, Russ continues to dance with the devil and make it look like he’s just doing the dishes. The paradox of Russ is his on-land demeanour – about as unassuming as they come and yet here he proves himself yet again as nothing less than an animal. The original plan was to chat to Russ while in Hawaii for the Vans Pipe Masters, but we both got a bit carried away with the Mai Tais so we’ll let the film do the talking for this one.
