Momma Have Come Out With New Single,’Bang Bang’
Our friends and Bright Young Things alumni, NYC-based Momma have released a new single today.
The track is called ‘Bang Bang’ which is apt considering the punchy boldness of the track’s composition and style. It is very much in the way of Momma, but with a dash of something else exciting and very listenable. As producer and band member Aron Kobayashi Ritch describes, the track, ‘mixes classic momma (big guitars and hooks) with something new. Feels more immediate and fresh in a way. Production feels more adventurous.’ Some good words from Aron and some good music from Momma.
The real mystery is where and how exactly Momma have found the time to write and record the solid new track while spending most of the year traveling the world on tour with Snail Mail, Death Cab For Cutie, Alex G, and (very soon) Weezer.
