Love & Hate With Grant Noble
Grant Noble’s got talent spilling out of his ears — that’s a given.
Something you might not know about the Costa Mesa native, though, is that he’s a supremely easy-going guy. A real pleasure to have in class type. He’s not fussed by much, but the few things that do bother him can really spark a fire. And the things that have him bounding out of bed in the morning are an insight into the inspired Orange County multi-hyphenate mind. Speaking of insights: here’s a short list of all his loves and hates.
LOVE
1. Mac ’n Cheese, add bacon.
2. Fishing Offshore @mvtater.
3. Beers.
4. Skating Curbs because transitions are scary.
5. Bikes, motored or not. Tinkering on motors and wheels is a favourite.
6. San Francisco, the skateboarding and the fast pace of the city.
7. Shaping surfboards. When I’m surfing I wanna be shaping & when I’m shaping I want to be surfing.
8. My Vespa, best purchase I’ve ever made for summer in Newport.
9. Mexico, land of amazing waves and great people.
10. My fiancé, she’s the classiest in the biz!
HATE
1. Parking tickets.
2. Haters.
3. Shoulder noserides, keep that board in the pocket.
4. My dog pooin’ in the house.
5. I hate that I’m allergic to horses.
6. I hate that I can’t skate at my local park because there’s a horse stable across the street.
7. California gas prices, six bucks a gallon REALLY?
8. Onshore winds.
9. LA.
10. Instagram, love/hate but more on the dislike side haha.
