Love & Hate With Coco Cairns

If you haven’t yet heard of Coco Cairns, allow me to introduce you.

Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, but now living on the Goldy, Coco is an up-and-coming surfer who can ride just about any board you give her with more skill than you’ll ever possess despite being half your age. One of the few females still on the Roxy roster, she is not only talented but undeniably cool. Like that kind of cool that usually only comes from being around the block for a while. You may think that we say this about everyone we feature here at Monster Children, which we do, but hand on my heart Coco is through and through someone who has just got it. On my last dash home to the Goldy, I snuck in a day hanging with Coco, who has been nodded to by a few of the surf world experts as one to watch and let me tell you she sure is. A complete sweetheart, wise beyond her years and our new favourite. Here’s her list of love and hates.
