Listen: A Very Monster Children Valentine’s Day

Ah, Valentine’s Day! A holiday that 1% of the population actually enjoys (major corporations and my friends Kris and Sharon, probably).

The rest of us will either be sweating at a $350 pre-fixe dinner that someone made a non-refundable reservation for while drunk or ordering a heart-shaped pizza to eat while counting down the minutes until February 15th.

Either way you’ll need a soundtrack. Since I’ve been lucky enough to experience all three of these on Valentine’s Day, I’m making a playlist that hopefully everyone can enjoy. Play it on the way to that overpriced dinner or while you redownload your dating apps. Maybe you’re my friends Kris and Sharon who will listen to it while making souffles and enjoying Valentine’s Day because they are normal and in a healthy relationship. That’s probably not you though, so listen wherever and with whomever and try to power through this made up capitalist holiday!
