Have you noticed that everyone is playing golf?
I never thought I’d say it, but I’m playing golf. All of the time. It is the most addictive thing I’ve tried since skateboarding. I could go on about the similarities between golf and skateboarding for a pretty solid rant, but we’ll save that for another day. The reason I thought I’d never imagine myself playing golf was because it seemed kinda stuffy and for old rich people. While all that can be true, there is a whole new school of misfits playing the game.
With the help of folks like Cole Young from Metalwood the old stigma has been getting stripped back. You definitely don’t have to play golf to feel a sense there’s something cool happening in the space when you walk into the Metalwood store. The clothes are wearable away from the country club and the idea of getting together a unique golf set becomes enticing. Whether you’ve ever stepped foot on a golf course or not, you should definitely pop in and have a look at what Metalwood has going on, but you may walk out of there with a habit.
