Calling all musicians and/or bands from Australia and New Zealand—we want to press your albums for FREE!

New Zealand’s Holiday Records (vinyl pressing geniuses) and Monster Children (your favourite publisher) are going to put your sound on wax, by way of—you guessed it—a competition. It’s called WAXED. Here’s how it works…

You, an unsigned band or solo artist, hit the link at the end of this spiel and carefully read the instructions on how to enter the WAXED comp (basically, you just give us a link to your EP or LP), and then our judges have a listen to your music and decide which band/solo artist they like the most. And don’t worry, the judges like all the music genres—all of them! What, even reggae? YES, EVEN REGGAE!!! No pesky record company needed, no AR men, no money out of your pocket. Your music ON VINYL, to sell, to give away, or frisbee off the roof of your house—either way, they’ll be all yours for the keeping!

And it’s not just a couple of ordinary, boring-as-bat-shit black records in blank sleeves—the winner of WAXED will collect (and this is insane):
