Monster Children x Chocolate Deck
Posted By Ben - 08.05.2013
Very rarely is it acceptable to buy a skate deck with the intention of never, ever, ever setting it up. This is one of those occasions where it’d be okay. There are 130 of these Evan Hecox-designed, Ten-years-of-Monster-Children Chocolate boards, and if you want one you can score one by simply being faster than everyone else who is reading these words right now.

Boards of Canada - Tomorrow's Harvest
Posted By Ben - 29.04.2013
Since Record Store Day a bunch of LP's have been surfacing from Boards of Canada. All the records featured the same short atmospheric track, but they all had a different code read out at the end.
On the 27th of April, Cartoon Network aired this commercial, and earlier today the Boards of Canada official site had been changed to redirect to here. Once entering this code: 699742628315717228936557813386519225, you're shown this video and sent to the pre-order of the band's new album, the first new material since 2005. A damn good way to get your fans thinking.

New T-Shirts
Posted By Ben - 14.03.2013
We have two new t-shirts up for grabs. One by Evan Hecox and the other by Thomas Campbell, both white, both printed on AS Colour 'Paper' tees and both only $50.
In this, the 38th issue of Monster Children we have so much good stuff! We talk with Mike O’Meally about his twenty-odd-year reign in skate photography; we meet the man who coined the title ‘editor-at-large,’ Glenn O’Brien; Keith Hufnagel tells us why he won’t wear his own t-shirts; pro-surfer Warren Smith interrupts an interview to take a photo of something; and the legendary artist Kevin Ancell says, ‘Fuckin’’ nearly 50 times. Seriously. Dude needs his mouth washed out.
